The property is located at the intersection of Highway 24 (Oliver Highway) and Highway 17 in Screven County Georgia. Daily vehicle count on Highway 17 easily exceeds 10,000. Building permit for a shipping container facility was approved but has since expired. Building site is located adjacent to rail with existing spur. Residential new construction within a 5-mile radius is now selling for upwards of $400,000. Data center planned for Sylvania which is approximately 20 miles North. Land was cleared in 2023, removing more than 100 large trees and tree stumps. There was a brick store on this site but was razed more than 40 years ago. According to the 2020 Census, Screven County has a population of 14,067. Savannah River borders the eastern side of the county, and Ogeechee River borders the southwest portion. Screven County is located approximately 35 miles north of Savannah.
